When active, the administrative and technical contacts for a domain are essentially hidden. The contact information displayed relates to Privacy.ca, although the domain name remains registered to the client. These measures are in place to discourage people from unwarranted and/or excessive requests of WHOIS data (domain owner information). Should someone wish to access this information, they must visit Privacy.ca and apply to receive it.
