Values
Devoted to Our Principles
Imagine an inspirational poster designed in a collaborative effort by Salvadore Dali, Sir Isaac Newton and Freddy Krueger. It would be an interesting way to describe our inspiration … but we still wouldn’t put it on our wall. We don’t need a poster. Our values live in our bones.
Value No. 2
[x]We’re a team, not a family.
Family is important, but don’t tell us you’ve never wondered how you wound up with yours! We know how we wound up with our team, and we know how we will continue to bring in winning players. We’re like a professional sports team: we want the best, and not everyone can make the team. We’re about winning, not whining.
Value No. 4
[x]Don’t forget
your ABCs.
Attitude. Behaviour. Competence. All 3 are crucial. But they aren’t arranged that way to help us practice the alphabet; they are placed in order of importance. Competence is still important to us, but it will only get you through the door. Great attitude and behaviour are what will keep you moving forward.
Value No. 5
[x]The game can change at any time. Bring it!
We are always readying ourselves, either to execute on a brand new idea, or to improve quickly upon emerging opportunities. This is how we choose to work. Not everyone can keep up. The next great idea can come from anyone, so we’re always listening.
Value No. 6
[x]We’ve got more balls than Ikea.
We’re going to take risks that others won’t. Risks don’t scare us, and neither do people who believe goals we set and projects we undertake are impossible. All we hear when people tell us we can’t is that someone else WON’T. And that’s just one less competitor when we do.
Value No. 7
[x]We say "hi".
Don’t be shy. We value two-way conversations, whether they take place in our hallways, on social media platforms, or via traditional communications. Being open, approachable, and outgoing are traits that we proudly embody every day. We are happy to start the conversation; we want you to feel the same way.
